Bill Holsinger, age 86 of Cave City, departed this life on January 1, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Pike County native was born on September 23, 1937 to the late Garland and Mary Ridenour Holsinger. He was married for sixty-one years to the love of his life, Daisy Smith Holsinger, who survives.
Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Mammoth Cave National Park as a supervisor, owner of Save-A-Lot and owner of Holsinger Reality and Construction.
Besides his wife, Daisy, he leaves to honor his memory-- his son, David Holsinger (Dennise) of Cave City; grandchildren Charlie Holsinger, Dusty Hood, Tyler Lambirth and Whitney Furlong (Chris); great-grandson, Eli Walden; sister, Areta Hatfield and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cheri Boston; siblings, Charles Holsinger (Gerri) and Jewell Stull.
Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
