Betty Tipton

Betty Jo Tipton, age 75 of Brownsville, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 in Brownsville. She was born August 28, 1932 in Boomer, West Virginia to the late Mac Dawson and the late Della Pauley Woosley. She was a retired machine operator for Eaton Axle Corp. in Glasgow, and was a member of Eastern Star Lodge in Louisville, Green Meadows United Baptist Church and attended NewGrove Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Minyard (Kenneth) of Brownsville; two grandchildren, David Minyard (Jeannie) of Brownsville and Donna Villegas (Jose) of Bowling Green; five great grandchildren, Candy Meredith, David McGrew, Gabriela Villegas, Carolina Villegas and Katrina Villegas; two great grandchildren, Dalton and Colton Meredith. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Dean Dawson and one sister, Patsy Coogan. Services will be officiated by Bro. Steve Gipson with burial in the Hawkins Cemetery.
