Betty Penrose

Betty L. Penrose, age 78 of Brownsville, passed away December 7, 2008 in Nashville. She was born March 17, 1930 in Brookport, IL to the late Henry and Edna Duvall Kirby. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and attended Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, David L. Penrose, Sr. of Brownsville; one son, David L. Penrose, II (Jeanette) of Birmington, WA; four daughters, Katrina Branna (David) of Lafayette, TN, Delona McKie (Greg) of Riverside, CA, Tosca Hale (Johnny) and Felicia Schmidt (Bob) of Brownsville; two sisters, Kitty Michael (Steve) of Tacoma, WA and Teresa Macky (Marty) of Seattle, WA; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Kirby. Services will be officiated by Bro. Calvin Bond with burial in the Brownsville Cemetery.
