Betty Jo White Meredith, age 73 of Park City, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009 in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker, beloved mother, loving grandmother and caring friend to all she met and a member of Park City Baptist Church.
She was born May 10, 1935 in Prestonburg, KY she is the daughter of the late Lynn Turner and the late Mamie Turner and was married to the late William Ottis White and the late Montie Meredith.
She is survived by one son, Grover Lynn White (Vetta) of Park City; three daughters, Brenda Poynter (Mitchell) of Horse Cave, Ethel Louise Minks of Park City and Lisa Meredith Webb of Horse Cave; five grandchildren, Tracy Decker, Jammie Lewis, Tommy White, Ashley Handley and Brooklin Webb; three great grandchildren, Megan Lewis, Chelsea and Destiny Minks; six stepchildren; three brother-in-laws, James Clifford White, Grover C. White (Louise) and Wallace Dee White (Letha); three sister-in-laws, Arizona White Morris, Geneva White Miles and Audrey White and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sister-in-laws, Elsie White Hazel and Marie White Walden and one brother-in-law, Otis White.
Services will be officiated by Bro. Chad Hunt with burial in Doyle Cemetery in Edmonson County.
