Bessie Crump

Bessie Lena Beckner Crump, age 99, of Rocky Hill passed away Thursday April 12, 2010 at her residence.

She was born September 30, 1910 in Edmonson County to the late William Isaac and Lallie Mabel Hardison Beckner and marrie to the late Jeff Robert Crump.

She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview General Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons; Leon Crump (Hazel) of Bowling Green and Edd Lee Crump (Janice) of Rocky Hill; four daughters, Bonnie Barbee (Belvy) of Rocky Hill, Willie Blanton (James E.) of Bowling Green , Nora Buttram (Tom) of Smiths Grove and Dorene Thomas (Jerry) of Columbia; one brother, Murl Beckner of Rocky Hill; one aunt, Willie Hardison Crump (Alfred) of Louisville; eighteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Chris Blythe, Bro. Belvy Barbee and Bro. Jerry Thomas with burial in the Rocky Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Fairview General Baptist Church c/o Edd Lee Crump, 685 Crump Road Smiths Grove, KY 42171.
