Bernice Minyard

Bernice Thompson Minyard, 82, of Brownsville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at her home. She was born April 21, 1929 to the late Roy Thompson and the late Ida Bell Wilson Thompson. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Minyard. She waswith the environmental services at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a member of the Edmonson Co. Saddle Club and the New Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Rondal "Butch" Minyard (Kathy) of Brownsville, KY; a daughter, Charline Thomas of Brownsville, KY; a brother, Curtis Thompson (Ruth) of Greenwood, IN; nine grandchildren, Dwayne Thomas (Taura) , Jason Johnson (Cathy) andRondal Neal Minyard (Amy) all of Chalybeate, KY, Richie Earl Minyard (Leslie) of Brownsville, KY, Dottie Collins (Timothy) of Smiths Grove, KY, Pam Wilson (Jayson) of Brownsville, KY, Carey Woodcock (Jason) of Bee Spring, KY, Stacy Collins (Ed) of Brownsville, KY and Timothy Collins (Dottie) of Smiths Grove, KY; twenty six great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son, Tony Neal Minyard; two sisters, Corty Dorsey and Leaner Ford and two brothers, Howard and Clyde Thompson. Burial will be in the Hawkins Cemetery with Bro. Steve Gipson officiating.
