Bennie T. Cole, 97, of Cedar Springs, departed this life on Friday, March 13, 2015 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born July 4, 1917 to the late J.D. and Josie Cross Cole and was the husband of the late Evelyn Martin Cole.

He was a WWII Army veteran, a machinist for Transport Products and a member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church.

He is survived by twenty-three nephews; seventeen nieces and several great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by four brothers-- James, Paul, Charles and Leroy Cole, and two sisters-- Allene Bush and Violet Jackson.

Burial will be in Lambert Cemetery with military honors.
