Ben Tunks

Ben Tunks, age 71 passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 in Nashville. He was born September 21, 1937 in Edmonson County to the late Warner Tunks and the late Gladys Cook Cochran and married to the late Iva Nell Tunks. He was a warehouse supervisor for Dixie Warehouse and Holley Carburetor and a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Madison Tunks of Brownsville; one son, Nick Tunks (Tina) of Brownsville; one grandson, Kenny Tunks (Leeann) of Brownsville; one granddaughter, Megan Tunks of Brownsville; one great grandchild, Kayla Ray of Brownsville; uncle, Lloyd Cook of Brownsville; two stepsons, Keith Skaggs (Cindy) of Lebanon Junction and Kevin Skaggs (Donna) of Frankfort; one stepdaughter, Karen Forbes (Bill) of Louisville, KY;seven step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Silent Grove Church Cemetery.
