Barry Hughes

Barry Douglas Hughes, age 43 of Cave City, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Cave City.

He was born December 28, 1966 in Barren County to the late Haskell Douglas Hughes and Louise Sexton Hughes of Cave City and married to Rita L. England Hughes of Cave City.

Barry was a custodian for Park City Elementary, a member of Bear Wallow Masonic Lodge #231 F&AM and Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

He is also survived by a daughter, Ellen Colleen Hughes of Glasgow; two stepsons: Joshua Smith of Cave City and Jonathan Smith (Stacey) of Kino; grandson, Eli Smith; three stepgrandchildren, Brynn, Ann Douglas and Ty Springer, several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son, Andrew Douglas Hughes; grandparents, Veachel and Lou Ann Hughes and Henry and Annie Sexton.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Danny Wayne Sexton, Bro. Shane Stice and Bro. Riley Sexton with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. Masonic rites will be at 7:00 pm Sunday at the Park City Chapel.
