Arthur Woodcock

Arthur Woodcock, 86 of Bee Spring, KY, departed this life on Friday, September 27, 2013 at his residence.  The Edmonson County native was born on April 16, 1927 to the late John Melvin and Addie Ellen Salings Woodcock.  As a young man, he married his devoted wife of sixty-two years, Stella Farris Woodcock, who survives him.

He was a baptist and worked in maintenance with the Kentucky State Highway Department.

He is survived by his loving and caring family that includes his wife, Stella; one son, Dallas Woodcock and his companion Diane of Bee Spring, KY; one daughter, Kathy Rich and her husband Terry of Bee Spring, KY; nine grandchildren, Brian Woodcock and his wife Dana of  Bee Spring, KY,  Craig Board of Bowling Green, KY, Melissa Hennion and her husband Kenny of Cedar Springs, KY, Shaye Bailey of Bowling Green, KY, Whitney Bohn and her husband David of Louisville, KY, Kyle Gott of Bowling Green, KY, Adam Schultz and his fiancee' Jennifer of Louisville, KY, Matt Rich and his wife Ashley of Bowling Green, KY and Scott Woodcock of Bowling Green, KY;  thirteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Alice Lewis and her husband Brownie of Bowling Green, KY.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Doris Gott.

Burial will be in the Vincent Cemetery in Bee Spring, KY with Bro. Jerry Spainhoward officiating.
