Arthur Scott

Arthur Scott, 64, of Annetta, passed away Monday, October 30, 2006 at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield. He was born August 31, 1942 in Edmonson County to the late Jimmy and Mary VanMeter Scott and husband of  Barbara Vaughn Scott. He was a self employed mechanic, a coal miner, a member of Annetta VFD, Pleasant Union United Baptist Church and a Grayson County Constable. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Tony Scott of Navarre, FL and Tommy Scott of Cleveland, NC; one sister, Velzie Kinser of North Lauderdale, FL; one brother, Johnny Scott of Villa Ridge, MO; two grandchildren Nathaniel and Natasha Scott and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Local services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Vaughn family cemetery in Duffield, VA.
