Anthony Lashley

Anthony Stoy Lashley, age 61 of Brownsville, passed away Thursday June 16, 2011 in Louisville. He was born January 19, 1950 in Edmonson County to the late Ewing Stoy Lashley and Lucy Helen Lindsey Moore of Brownsville.

He was a Clerk and Deacon at Silent Grove Missionary Baptist Church, a Vietnam Army Veteran and a foreman for the Edmonson County Road Department.

He is also survived by his wife, Mary B. Lashley of Brownsville; daughter, Beth L. McCombs (Wayne) of Brownsville; son, Chad Anthony Lashley (Shanna) of Brownsville; three grandchildren, Emma Lashley, Jenna Lashley and Bentley McCombs; three brothers, Freddie Lashley (Mary Ann) of Horse Cave, Johnny Lashley of Brownsville and Sidney Lashley (Glenda) of Brownsville; three sisters, Rita Wortham, Vickie Ashley and Holly Raymer all of Brownsville.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Kenny Decker with military honors at Silent Grove Church Cemetery.
