Amanda Kay Vanmeter, age 38, of Brownsville, KY, departed this  life on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Brownsville at her residence. The Edmonson County native was born on April 15, 1978 to William Dennis Vanmeter and Catherine York Minton.

She was an Assembly Line worker for Dart container and was a member of the Baptist Church .

Besides her parents she is survived by her step-father, William Howard Minton of Brownsville, KY; two sisters, Nichole Bratcher (Randall) of Brownsville, KY, Ashley Wilson (Albert) of Burkesville, KY; one niece, Kayleigh Ann Bratcher; one nephew, William Kole Bratcher; boyfriend, Kevin Logsdon of Cave City, KY; grandmother, Beatrice Johnson; several uncles and aunts. She was preceded in death by her

maternal grandfather Gerald York and her paternal grandparents Bobby and Nelma Crump
