Alvina Vincent

Alvina Vincent, 84, of Bowling Green, KY, died Monday, February 28, 2011 in Bowling Green.  She was born December 1, 1926 in Campbellsville, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Corbett A. Brown and the late Thelma Hazard Brown.  She was a retired inspector  for Union Underwear and a foster grandparent.  She is survived by one granddaughter, Lenora Myers (Brad) of Smiths Grove, KY; a great grandchild, Aleksandra Myers of Smiths Grove, KY; five sisters, Jean Dooley and Claudine Gardner (Carl)  both of Lexington, KY, Margie Swears and Jennifer Sluder both of Campbellsville, KY and Carolyn Pritchard (Arlin) of Louisville, KY.  She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald L. Vincent; one grandson, David Alan Vincent; one great granddaughter, Kendall Myers; three brothers, Robert E., Buddy and Jimmy Brown and one sister, Beulah Wethington.  Burial will be in the Bowling Green Gardens with Bro. Marvin Carson officiating.
