Allen Taylor

1958-2022

Allen Taylor, age 64 of Mammoth Cave, departed this life on August 15, 2022 at his residence.  The Edmonson County native was born on February 20, 1958 to the late Bro. Dave and Nelsie Brooks Taylor.  He was married to Veronica Taylor, who survives.

Allen was a U.S. Navy veteran.  He worked for many years for the Corps of Engineers and Kentucky Highway Department as a maintenance worker.  He was a member of Union Light Missionary Baptist Church and the Cub Run Masonic Lodge #910 F&AM.

Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— his son, Ryan Taylor of Mammoth Cave; two brothers, Brandt Taylor (Kim) of Chalybeate and Reed Taylor (Judy) of Mammoth Cave and a sister, Karen Agee (Jim) of Brownsville.
