1938 - 2023

Adelheid “Heidi” Bowles, age 84, of Park City, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at her residence. The Kaiserslauten, Germany native was born on September 2, 1938 to the late Adam and Sophia Wagner Sturm. She was married for fifty-three years to Leathel W. Bowles, who survives.

Heidi retired from General Motors after twenty-eight years of service. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family. She adored her husband, children,  and especially her grandchildren. When she wasn’t seeing after the needs of her family, she enjoyed working outside.

Besides her husband, Leathel, she leaves to honor her memory— her daughters, Linda Freund, Sandra Mundy (Steve), Donna Popp, Deborah Graves (Bobby) and Pamela Hawkins (Doug), all of Indiana; son, Leathel Wayne Bowles, Jr. of Illinois; twenty-four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and siblings, Helmut, Adam and Werner Sturm, all of Germany and Monika Hanvey of South Carolina. She was also preceded in death by her son, Karl Lemasters.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
